Heal A Woman, Heal The World International believes that every woman and girls have the power within to transform her world. Across the globe women and girls still face discrimination on the bases of gender.
Gender inequality underpins many problems which disproportionately affect women, such as domestic and sexual violence, inadequate healthcare, and infant mortality. Girls are being human trafficked, child brides, lack of education, food, water, and the skills to live a healthy, productive, and successful lives.
We at Heal A Woman, Heal The World International (formerly known as Daughter's Of Ether International) has helped women in American, The Gambia, Nigeria, and other African countries affected by this injustice offering support, tools, feminine products, toiletries, water, food, counseling, and access to life-changing skills to move from crisis and poverty to stability and economic self- sufficiency.

We believe that women are birthers. That all human beings come forth from a woman.
When a woman is suffering from the residual affects of emotional trauma caused by life's challenges. She is unable to birth out her gifts, talents, purpose, and dreams.
We know that women pass on their knowledge to their family, daughters, and friends creating a ripple effect for generations. By investing in women, we create a better world for all girls - a world that's more peaceful, loving, equal, and prosperous.

Our Founder
As Founder and President of Heal A Woman, Heal The World International, LuRussia Cain is a humanitarian who has dedicated her life towards achieving gender equality, advancing women, and girls human rights, and the empowerment of women and girls in America, The Gambia and Nigeria. She is passionate about creating an environment, systems and structures that work favorably for all women and girls without any form of discriminations.
She also launched a successful social media campaign through Heal A Woman, Heal The World International called #WeAre to raise awareness on key women and girl's issues.
Before starting Heal A Woman, Heal The World International, LuRussia was the CEO of Ishavay's Foundation. At Ishavay's Foundation, LuRussia played a key role in strengthening families that have been affected by Pregnancy Loss and Infant Mortality.
LuRussia is a Board Member of Brenda's Heart Foundation (BHF), caters to the community by empowering, educating, and finding a cure for HIV/ AIDS.
LuRussia served as WNBA Los Angeles Sparks Ambassador of the #WeAreWomen Campaign. As Ambassador, She impacted social change to build a better, stronger and more competent community, while improving quality of life and fostering a sense of pride in Los Angeles educating in social justice and change in LA and beyond.
LuRussia served as African American Liaison and Advocate at Harriett Village Charter School. She assisted in building communication gaps between the school, students and families; helping families to understand and navigate through the school system, providing an equal learning opportunity.
